Karel has been Center Manager of Palladium ever since the opening of the mall. He joined the Property Solutions Group in 2007 and leads the Center Management Department, which is responsible for managing internal staff as well as all suppliers in the area of technical management, cleaning, security services, and others.

Before taking over Palladium, Karel held the position of Head of Infrastructure at HVB Bank (now UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia) for 14 years. Karel gained his first experience as Center Manager by running one of the first shopping centers in Prague – Park Hostivař, where he worked for two years. As Director of Center Management, he assumes overall responsibility for the property management of several buildings, including tenant relations, re-letting negotiations, management of tenant fit out construction works, refurbishments, insurance and warranty management, and communication with statutory authorities. He is also responsible for management of the Palladium underground garage.
